Subject: Can't type 'º' directly in the body of a message.

This has been bugging me for some time, and I just finally noticed that it ONLY happens when posting on BT.  This probably happened at the same time that the 'return bug' popped up.  (Before return used to move down a line, and now it skips one. At least somebody figured out you could use shift-return for that...)

If I am in the editor, and type Alt-0, instead of giving me the degree symbol, up pops an annoying little window about 'Accessibility Help'.  This ONLY happens when typing in the editor box.  If I click on my google search bar and then do the same key strokes it does produce the symbol and I can copy and paste it in.  The workaround works, but it is extremely annoying.

The alt code for the degree symbol is 0176.

Do you have a default system font or a utility that assigned that symbol to Alt-0?  If so, it's likely that the rich text editor is overriding it or somehow preventing it from working in the text box. The editor is HTML and Javascript based, it isn't native to your OS so it isn't going to be perfect, it can't exactly mimic the behavior of a native word processor.
