new profile trouble

I've filled this out once, received a "successfully submitted", and apparently it hasn't taken.  Now I'm trying to fill out yet another new profile and when I select the link, it just keeps taking me back to the main forum page.  I'm working on recovering from a serious injury and could really use the coaching now, but it's been unavailable to me for a couple of weeks now.
