Comments: This has been my best run time as of right now, November 21. I thought it was a good run and the hills were not too challenging. There was only one real tough section, but after that I was in good shape. Of all the races I have been in, I sprinted the last 1/4 mile and really did well on my time. I had quite a few people pass me midway through the race, but I then passed them later and felt a sense of accomplishment. I like the fact that I could see the finish line a good 1/4 mile before the finish so that I could gauge how much energy I could use up for the end of my run. What would you do differently?: Start slower and work my pace up in the middle and end. ![]() Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Long hill Event comments: This, by far, has been the most organized and well run race that I have competed in this season. A big plus was having a local WLS radio guy, John Williams, announce the names of most of the finishers at the end of the race. I wish I knew this beforehand so that I could take off my headphones to hear my name...but I did get to hear my wife's name and a lot of students who were behind me. Great Shirt!
