Race Reports - "Started By" is blank

I noticed that there are some race reports that show in the forum with no "started by" name in them - irondog's was one of those as well, but didn't show in the forum until I had commented on it.  (I went to it via the link in his blog and then commented.)  Maybe the no name thing is connected to it not showing up until someone comments on it?
