My wife is selling her 2011 Cannondale Slice 5 in the womens edition since it's not being used (I'm also selling my Slice 4 56cm, will list that shortly). Original retail on it was $2,149. My wife raced several triathlons on her road bike in 2010, so we decided to get her a tri bike for 2011. Between other hobbies (motorcycling and scuba diving) and pregnancy beginning late 2011, we found tri training too time consuming. Her bike literally has one outdoor ride and two trainer rides on it, it's for all intents and purposes brand new, even has the clear sticker over the rear derailleur logo. Components are all stock and consist of:

Frame: Slice Women's, full carbon, SAVE, BB30
Fork: Slice Full Carbon 650 & 700c
Chain: Shimano 105
Handlebar: Cannondale C3 Aero bar, 31.8/40cm, w/Profile T2 clip-ons
Front Derailleur: Shimano 105 B/O Double
Rear Derailleur: Shimano 105 Double
Shifters: Microshift Shimano-compatible bar-end
Crank: FSA Gossamer Pro BB30, 50/34
Bottom Bracket: Shimano 105 5700 11-25T
Cassette: Shimano 105 5700 11-25T
Saddle: Prologo Kappa Dea, Pro T2.0 rails
Seat Post: Slice Aero Full Carbon, 2 position
Headset: Slice Si, 15 mm top cap
Brake Calipers: Tektro R520
Brake Levers: Promax Aero levers
Rims: Maddux Aero 700c
Hubs: Formula RB51/52
Spokes: DT Swiss Champion 2.0

The bike has never even had bar tape on it, but I will wrap it in new black or white tape, whichever the buyer prefers. It's a 51cm frame and fit my wife at 5'3". We're in the Atlanta area, specifically close to Smyrna, just a couple miles from the Silver Comet. At this point we'd prefer local pickup (I'll probably cross post in the GA forum). We're asking $1600 OBO. I'll try to check BT when I can, but you'll get a quicker response by email, dwayne AT psualum DOT com

All of my road rash has healed, but my right shoulder is still in a lot of pain. I have started swimming, but only really, really light workouts. Do you have any recommendations on stretches?

I'm not sure if one of these models is better, both are from 2009 aluminum/carbon combinations. I realize this is a difficult question but any thoughts as which bike is better for a woman?

Is gear overlap from the big to small ring a consideration? Will the ratio increment of the compact setup be very beneficial to my riding?
