Subject: RE: Clip-On Aero's...what are you using? I currently have Profile Design T1+ clip-ons on my road bike. They're OK - my position is a little flawed because my bike is a little too big for me. I've also used the PD Airstryke (attached them to my hybrid...it looked ridiculous but it worked). When I moved them to a road bike the spring-loaded armrests were really awkward getting in and out of aero, so I wouldn't recommend them. Given a choice (and I will do this when I buy my new roadie in the spring...) I'd go with the Jammer GTs, which are the short ones that keep you closest to your road position while still offering some aero gains, vs. trying to make a road bike into a tri bike, which doesn't work well for some people. |
