Comments:

15,000 runners with a course lined with spectators the whole way. What a fun run. There where also close to 50 local bands playing tunes enroute. TV cameras everywhere. Although it took over 2 minutes to reach the start line and had to do a lot of crowded walking within 1st mile, it was a blast!

What would you do differently?:

Start up a the 8min/mile markers as I lost my running companions in the mass anyways.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

crowded, constantly dodging people.

Event comments:

If you have never run a huge race, this one was well organized and fun. "The best little roadrace in California!"

Course:	From Santa Cruz wharf, down resisdential streets to Capitola Wharf. Easy well marked, a couple small hills.
