![]() Run
Comments: Ran well. Casey took off at about the .5 mile mark and never looked back. Not enough people to push too hard. Also had to dodge traffic. What would you do differently?: Hydrate less the day before and morning of. Had to pee the first mile, plus didn't get much sleep the night before. Ran the race perfect. Started slow. Yay! Picked it up in the second half. Could have kicked at the end, but no motivation. ![]() Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Having to pee, lack of sleep. Event comments: This is more of a fun run/walk than a race. No markers for splits, no aid stations, the course is not 3.1, but not sure how short it is, no awards other than finishers medals. Other than those things it was fantastic. Good after snack, nice goody bag, more than enough friendly volunteers to have markers and water. Overall winner came in at over 22 minutes, if only I had started training 6 months earlier...it may have been my last chance to win any race! Last updated: 2004-09-14 12:00 AM
