Subject: jargon in olympic plan

I am currently working on the sprint to olympic 12 week bridge plan.  Under the swim, bike, or run icon it says something like "pacing" or "run speed", or "bike base", etc....  Does this indicate the focus of the workout or something else.

The HR is not indicated in each work out.  Should I only worry about that when it is indicated or is this related to the question above??

Hi Mike,

You're correct. The phrase immediately under the icon ('Form', 'Endurance', etc.) is the type or purpose of the workout.  If a HR Zone isn't indicated don't worry about it. Just focus on the instructions in the workout. These tend to be Form workouts so effort level isn't particularly relevant except if you can't maintain form, you're going too hard.
