Wow my back hurts. I really pulled my upper back yesterday while stretching. Its 530am now and I am pondering if I should just take off today. Its way to early in the pre-season to push to far, to hard. Should I take it easy today or just rest all together? Happy Friday gang!

Sound advice Trimom! I do believe my back agrees with you. Being 27 years young and extremely active for all of those years I must admit to a high level of frustration since this is my first injury.

Short swim this morning with focus on the TI drills rather than distance. Planning a low intensity 60 min run later.

Happy Friday all!

No training today. Wasted too much time on the Inernet. You'll all know when I'm starting to get fit because I'll probably stop posting to this forum.

I haven't ever put my training stuff in here--so I thought I would just jump in.

Fridays are basically a rest day, but I do bike to work with a slightly increased cadence. It's about 11 miles and it takes me a little less than 45 minutes. (lots of stopping and starting). I'm pretty slow on the bike as it is. But with my new bicycle trainer purchase (yippee!), I hope to put in lots of miles and improve considerably!
