Subject: RE: Favorite Skiing DestinationSpring skiing in VT can be fun. Yeah, it' not deep powder, extreme elevation, etc., but we've had a great winter so far. The snow is really slow and wet, but you can work it and push your way down really steep stuff which, when frozen hard, are much more difficult. Plus skiing in 1 layer (or shorts ) is really fun.
Not much nightlife, but Stowe is argueably the best pure skiing mountain in New England. Killington has tons of terrain, but is the McDonalds of skiing (millions and millions served ).
I like Jackson Hole very much. Good town (million $ cowboy bar ), tons of terrain and a day trip over to Grand Targhee make for a good vacation. |
