Morning fellow Vixen's!  Lovin' them name!  I think I know most of you but a quick introduction anyway.

I'm Erica.  SAHM of 3 kiddos, Alex-7, Cole-5, Liam-4.  It is my birthday week and I will be turning the big 3-0 on Thursday.  I plan to celebrate all week long!!!  Ummmm, I finished my first season of tri's this past year and am currently enjoying running in the cold weather.  That is something I never thought I'd say!  I'm in for 23 sessions of outdoor running in this challenge.  I need to increase my distance and speed.  Should be nice and cold and wet.

Okay, I gotta run and get the kiddos ready for school.  Look forward to a fun month!

Morning Vixens!  I *heart* the name!!

here's my intro - it will look slightly familiar to some of you - that's because I copied the intro from the other challenge I'm doing

I'm lazy efficient like that

I'm Beth, a.k.a., lastcall2003, a.k.a. TinkerBeth, a.k.a. Tink

I just moved to PA in September, I commuted between PA and NE (that would be Nebraska, not New England) from February to September - still managed to squeeze in some training and a couple of races

it looks like we are going to have a great team (OMG Dee and I are on two teams together -the forum may explode )

I have 3 kids, 2 in college and one in 8th grade

I hope I can be chatty inspiring this month, some stuff came up at werk the past couple of weeks that has taken priority

I'm training for a 1/2 Mary in Jan or Feb - going to do the race with Kristin (lazymarathoner), looking very much forward to it!

Hello and morning to you all,

Love the being on team Vixen, have to say perfect name for this group

I too know some of you, to the rest hello look forward to meeting you my name is Melissa (Mel) and am mother of two girls 6 and 3.  I signed on to do 13 core sessions this month, I really need to get better at doing those.

Look forward to chatting with you all, and I have to say I think this team will totally win against the other reindeer on both the post padding encouraging end of things and at beating our limiters.  However if we are competeing against the other challenge for post padding encouraging, team Random Taser me Elmo Cat stalkers could give us a run for our money.  Yes you other team members who are also on that team.

I got to say too, we need to do some serious catch up if we want to compete with the Elmo stalker folks, they're/you are already on page 7.

True. But that's a different challenge. We just need to compete with the Reindeer Teams.

Intro will follow later. Gotta get to work!

Good so we're not competeing against the other challenge?  I thought I read somewhere that that might be a possibility.  Kind of glad its not thought, cuz I just don't think there is any way to compete with a Randomly tasering stalking Elmo.

Hi Vixens! I also love the name. Before I introduce - BETH, MEL! Yay! And Erica, we're on two teams together this month! How fun!

I'm Kristin. After running (not well) for 9 years and casuall cycling for 5, I decided to learn to swim in May of this year and did my first tri in June. I was hooked. I made it through 3 this season and loved every minute of it, but had a very bad bike crash on August 10 that ended it very abruptly. I've been recovering since, and managed to do the NYC Mary to officially end my race season.

My limiter is really biking, but with traveling this month, I won't have access to my bike so I've chosen swimming. I had just learned to swim and was getting pretty comfortable with it when I had my accident. I swam with one arm for most of my injury and am just now starting to swim again. My stroke needs a lot of work and I need to re-gain my swim fitness. I'm aiming for 16 sessions this month and if I can exceed it, I most certainly will. I'll be traveling so I'll need to find local pools where I go, that will be my secondary challenge.

Can't wait to get to know you all this month!

Hello fellow Vixens-

I am Kathy and this is my 3rd month on BT. I've progressed from 1 challenge in October (we won-Go Monsters!) to 2 last month and 2 this month, in addition to the winter long crappy weather challenge. I have 2 girls, 1 a freshman at Univ. of VT and the other a 16 yo HS sophmore.  I have made my 50th year one of changes and am currently changing careers.  Maybe we should set up a challenge for finding a new job!  Past tri experience was sprint distances in my mid 40s- looking to repeat this distance and move up to Oly if possible.

I am looking forward to being on the same team as you established and post padding  inspirational seasoned BTers.

Go Vixens!!! I've gotta busy week this week and I'm down for 10 Run sessions this month as my limiter. Running is physically limiting so that makes it motivationally limiting as well. Try to get back into running after a bout with achilles tendonitis this fall
