I'm going away for the holiday weekend, but I should have 3 rides to long when I get back. An easy ride later today, a slightly longer one tomorrow, and a workout of some sort Monday morning.

Have a great 4th of July everyone!!

Hi I'm Chris. I took a bit of time off and am just now back into training. I am a 50 yr old Wife, Mom and Grandmom. In addition to Tri's I train my 2 Weimaraners in Agility and Hunting.
I will be doing my first ride later this afternoon. Looking forward to beating all the other teams.

The bike is my fav of the 3 sports as it is not as hard on my knees and shoulders as running and swimming.   Have a great Holiday and be safe.

Hellloooooo Team Garmin!

My name is April and this is my 3rd TdF challenge. I've hit my goal for each of the previous challenges, even though the first one required me to ride in circles in a basement to do so. My goal this year is for 12 stages and 300 miles.

I ride a Trek Pilot 5.0 around the flatland of Ohio but I am originally from New York. I'll be making a trip back home towards the end of our challenge but my father recently started riding too so I hope to be able to borrow a bike and keep adding on the miles out there.

When not riding, I am a college professor. Technically I am on summer break but I go to campus six days a week to work on research, publications, and new courses.

On Garmin - cool - if I were going to request a team this would have been it.

My name is Scott - I used last years TdF challenge to springboard back into some riding consistency and weight loss.  Was able to get re-started running on a regular basis again after that.  I am targeting my first Tri in nearly 4 year Labor Day Weekend.  (With about 3 miles to go in my last Tri - Nov '07 I said to myself I could be done with Tri's.  Didn't really believe it at the time, but those words were almost prophetic.  Rebuilding.

For the challenge I am going for 21 stages and as I saw someone put together 343 miles seems like a good target.  Most of my stages/rides will be road, but I will count 1 stage per week for my "commuting"  - my commute is so short that it doesn't even qualify round trip as a stage.

Lets have fun and take it to the front!

I forgot to put down my goals. I will ride every day of the Tour for at least 30 minutes. I will try to do more but I have just started back after a long layoff so that will be the challege. Getting on the bike every day...including the rest days.

I have just done my first ride and if I can get my Garmin to upload it will be in my log shortly.

Hello all and let me say that I'm glad to be on Team Garmin / Cervelo.  I have had difficulty with the spreedsheet and will state my intent here until I'm able to get it into the spreedsheet, but I hope to raise it later.  I will do 18 stages for a total of 11 Hours and 45 Minutes.  I started out today with a 1Hr. 21 Min. ride (22.8 miles) which was six minutes longer than I planned and hoped for.  I have to put in time instead of miles because alot will have to be done on train and have only my Garmin 305 Sensor on the bike.  For what it's worth I'm a fairly new rider less than two years and need to ride more often and look forward to being a part of this challenge.  Go Team Garmin / Cervelo

One stage of 25 miles done this morning. I had to change the route early in the ride due to paving. It turned out to be a great route of rolling terrain. I took it easy on the way out but pushed it on the way back averaging close to 20mph for 6 miles. That was my contribution to the team time trial.

Long slow ride planned for tomorrow.

Hey guys sorry I was away for a majority of the weekend.  I'll be doing 15 stages for roughly 15 miles a stage, might up that as we get closer since rides on the weekend will be 30-40 miles.

Can someone make a group link to the spreadsheet, and all team members logs so we can track and motivate everyone.

Stage 2 done this morning with a lovely 32.75 mile ride to explore new route options. I had no clue where I was for most of the ride. I like it that way.

Got my Hour in today and could feel the past two days in my legs becuase I'm not used to riding three days in a row.  Let me say that it feels good and this challenge is certainly going to improve my bike fitness.  Dlax, if you go into the spreedsheet link on the first page of this thread you will have access to what you are looking for, if you haven't found it already.  Go Team Garmin
