She Rocks 6/28/09...Who's in?

Jamie and I will be out there cheerleading!!  Guys are allowed to cheer lead at She-Rocks, right?

Hmmm, I'd think with a field of ONLY women, there would be LOTS of guys cheerleading!  ;-)  I'm looking forward to seeing you two there!

Ya know I thought about this, and I think Jazz did too, but the $$ skerd us away......I really wanted to support Sheila T's first endeavor but wished the cost had been just a little less hurtful......

I am excited to see how the event goes for you.  They had that open water swim last weekend at Portage Lake and the pics look like it was a good turn out.  They seem, at least in response to questions, to be very organized.

My tri-buddy Kris & I are in for the sprint.  It'll be just our 2d tri, the first being HI.  The swim is double . . . hope I can finish this one, too!  Looking forward to it.  Hope the temps stay cooler Sunday am!

From what I understand Sheila T is no longer involved with EST. I would also be very interested in how the even is run. As previously stated, they absolutely respond to emails. When they first announced races I emailed and asked why no love for the Clydes and Athenas and within hours they emailed back and said they somehow omitted but they did love guys like me and soon after added the groups.

Don't know you, Trish, but congrats!  That's so cool.  I was just happy to finish w/o being last in my age group!  Wahoo!  Now I've got to pick #3, and I've decided I NEED a new bike.

I truly had no idea how addictive this is!  My fitting at Bikesport is on Friday.  It's a furlough day for me, so what do I go do?  Spend the money I'm not making!  Hmmm . . . !
