BT and my tri club website get first crack, if it doesn't sell in a week, it goes on eBay/craigslist.

For Sale: 2004 Felt DA size large (55cm top tube, center to center)

I would like to get $800 but am open to offers.

Most of the parts are new or slightly used.

Easton EC90 carbon fiber fork
Profile T2 aero bars and base bar, Hammer OS stem
Dura Ace 9spd bar end shifter
Diacompe brake levers
Tecktro Dual Pivot brakes
Ultegra splined crank
105 Bottom Bracket
Ultegra rear derailleur
Dura Ace front derailleur
Shimano 105 cassette and chain
Vuelta Zerolite Hubs with Aeromax rims
Kenda 700x23c clincher tires
Coda saddle

Handle bars, stem, aero bars, bottom bracket, chain rings, cassette, and chain have about 75 miles on them.

Wheels and tires have about 10 miles on them.

Fork, shifters and rear derailleur have a couple hundred miles on them. Rear derailleur has some scuffs on the outside of the parallelogram, but is in perfect working order.

The crank is scuffed mostly from shoes rubbing against it. It is a triple crank, meaning it has a place for a small chainring. It has been setup by a professional mechanic as a double, it only has two chain rings, 52t and 39t. The spindle length of the bottom bracket is appropriate to a double crank and this setup has an optimal chainline. You would never know the crank is not a double without looking closely at the inside.

The front derailleur is Dura Ace. It is an older design but has very limited mileage on it. Plus front derailleurs rarely wear out.

The saddle has a lot of wear. To be perfectly honest, I think I am the only person in the world who likes this saddle. Your best bet is to find one that works for you and install that saddle.

Does not include pedals.

The frame has a couple minor blemishes on the front derailleur braze on, and some minor cable rub on the head tube.

I am attaching pictures, including the blemished. If anyone wants high resolution photos, pm me, or email me [email protected]

I am located in Northeast Wisconsin. I would be willing to drive to meet a local buyer interested in the bike. Otherwise, the buyer will pay actual shipping charges. The bike will be boxed by a bicycle store in an appropriate bike box.

I accept paypal only for internet sales, if we meet in person, cash, cashiers check or money order.

I'm about 6'1" and it feels just a tiny bit small. I'd venture to guess from about 5'9" to 5'11" maybe 6' even depending on proportions.

Sorry for not getting back to you more quickly. I thought I had a buyer however the bike was not the correct size for him.

I don't think I can add anything to the condition of the frame above what I put in the original post.

"The frame has a couple minor blemishes on the front derailleur braze on, and some minor cable rub on the head tube."

ETA: The blemishes could easily be covered with a sharpie, the benefit of a flat black paint job. However, I do not like to do this when selling a bike. I'd rather be honest about the condition of the frame and let the buyer touch it up.

Price dropped to $750.00

I want to make this bike fit me.

I'm 6'2" 190lbs.  Sounds like there is no way to do it.  Good luck on the sale, this looks like a sweet deal.

52 is the number for what? Top tube? The seat is easy to adjust. Doesn't mean much if the bike is not the right size.

I just want to add that I'm the buyer Dave thought he had, and though it's not going to work out for me, it is a great bike and I can't say enough about how great Dave has been in working with me on it.
