Ok you got me... what does G2G mean?

Okay - I'll see how the rest of the week goes - but that might work well...

In reference to my OWS it will mean Going 2 Gag.

I think Friday could work for me. Since it is Friday, I plan on bringing some "carb replacement" beverages to enjoy after the swim.

I've got the kids Friday night... hopefully the oldest will be around to babysit. I might come anyway jsut to socialize!

G2G - stands for get-to-gether, but I actually like Tim's version better! 

I found the swim as painful as expected.  But we are only 3 weeks away from Belle River and I cannot think that its going to get much warmer.  So, I guess we better just get used to it!  It's going to take me a few weeks to begin to 'enjoy' the swim.

Tim, the carb replacement sounds like a great idea! 

Jeff, the beach is really nice for kids to play.  Maybe I will bring my kids too (they are 9 and 12).  

Oh, for the newbies to the beach, there are bathrooms and change rooms on site (and a spot to wash the sand off your feet).
 

anyone have a wetsuit for my wife Robin to wear? 5'7" size 8

I'm iffy on this one. I forgot about date night  and my husband has his heart set on seeing the new Star Trek movie. I'm trying to reorganize the weekend, but everything depends on having someone to watch the kidlets.

WHAT!  She did not get one for mother's day??????

Where were you with this gift idea a week ago? I think she is going to rent for a few races. I am still fighting a cold so we are not going to make it out to the G2G on Friday.

Tracy, we will be at the essex pool one or two nights next week. I will let you know.

Ok, I'm in for sure now! Date night is moved to Saturday. Are we swimming or running after?

Hmm, the weather is now calling for rain tonight. I don't mind swimming and/or running in the rain as long as there's no thunder or lightning - but I don't want to be the only one! Is everyone else still planning to go?

I am in rain or shine!  Looks like we might have 4-5 people.

Awesome! Are you from Amherstburg too? Sorry, I know someone is and I can't remember if it was you or not. If you are, do you want to meet at Holiday Beach instead? Just because it's a bit closer.

If you're not from the 'Burg, Cedar Beach is still good for me at 7pm!

Ok, I'm assuming no answer means the plan is still to meet at Cedar Beach! I will be there for 7, ready to go!
