President Trump is just doing what he does.  He keeps them focused on doing nothing but worrying about him, and whining that he is President.  It's been a perfect environment for him to pass executive orders, replace judges, and move his elected agenda forward.

The left is going to always do what they do....pander to minorities by crying racism, crying victim, and promise services for free.....there is nothing new here.  It's why the economic gap exists.....to keep the left's voter base intact for liberal politicians.

What's new is a President who is playing them perfectly.

I see that the House Dems are voting to condemn President Trump's tweets, the way they condemned Rep. Omar's words a few months ago.  That's awesome.....I guess they can both take their condemnation letters home to get signed by their mothers before we can proceed.  Or.......maybe the House can actually do some work instead of this bullcrap.  What a joke. I don't think President Trump is making them the face of the Democrat Party.  I think the Democrat Party, in their hatred for the President, are allowing this to happen.....it's Trump Derangement Syndrome.  It will kill that party.

Look, I don't like that President Trump has to divide us to keep this country, the greatest force for good that the world has ever known, moving forward, but there is no doubt that there is a push to move us toward Socialism by the Left.  No.  Just no.  It has never worked anywhere it has been tried.  This is a GIANT lose for the Democrat party.  If members of that party, in their hatred for our President, or their delusion that Hillary Clinton was the best choice for us to move forward, can't get over the fact that we will NOT succumb to Socialism, then you might as well get used to President Trump through 2024. 

This is a slam dunk. Period.

YES, there are times when I'd like a better choice......but this man is willing to stand up and weather the storm....I'm in.  I am the majority....believe it.  This democracy will not fall.....not even with an election against it. (oh yeah, I completely get the irony...that's how we became great, so save it)  We will remain the country where anyone can make anything of themself, free from govt. restraint or rules.  Would you not fight and die for that right?  I don't owe anyone anything......and I'm not paying for anything I don't owe....and neither will my children. 

You can be whatever you want in this country......that's already been fought for.  My Grandpa gave it to me.....you can't have it back.  I would be ashamed.

Oh.....and while I'm at it.....  My Grandpa fought for his life on Tarawa......and at some point his unit, decimated, raised our flag.  If you can't stand for that, then Fork you.

Europe had began to fail long before Donald Trump came along.   It's military, it's economy, it's border protections are all on the downside of where they could be.  Or can they only be that if the US pays for it?  LOL

Again, thank your family for your grandparent's service, but save me from the lectures on what we should be doing.  It hasn't been that long ago that Europe and the rest of the world, and I'm sure you as well,  would go on and on about how the US wasn't the world police.  Unfortunately for you, our leaders backed down to that garbage.  Now, Europe can wallow in it as far as I'm concerned.  I hear France is a real jewel these days.

I think I've made it pretty clear that I don't like his methods all the time......but I do like what he is getting done.  I also don't believe everything he says.....but I don't believe everything anyone says, so that's a wash too.

In the end, I just enjoy living in a country where I don't have to give a rats arse what you do in your country....it doesn't affect my life one bit. I can't imagine living somewhere and pointing to another country because what that country does can have such a big effect on my own.  Nah, I'd just move. I also want the very bare minimal involvement from my govt. as I can get.  Here's my taxes, now leave me alone. Right now, the best avenue for me to keep that is Donald Trump.

ETA - I don't think your post came off as anti-anything.  The discussion is a good one......but no, we're not going to agree because I'm an "America First" guy.......that's just the way it is.  No amount of name calling, finger pointing, or stamping of feet will ever change that....I just don't care what people think of my opinion.....that's why I have one.

The thing is, my country DOES cooperate, and the whole world benefits.  But the world has to understand that there's a limit.....and the world has to pay it's fair share.  They have not been, and what looks like destruction to you looks like a more balanced line to me.  I'm happy to see it.  The way this country WAS headed is what haunted me......I'm not as worried now.  For sure, we have more work to do, and if we re-elect President Trump and get control of the House back then we can make some serious progress in making sure we don't go the way of our European allies.

I look at the world as it is, not as it was.  If you can't protect your borders and your interests without major help from us, then you have no business asking  us for money to help.  We don't need Europe AT ALL....there are no enemies of our country there.

Your country does a great job, Japan does a great job, Thailand does a great job.....just to name a VERY few.  China could be a problem for us.....we need allies in that region....we protect them. We need our borders protected, thank you Canada for your work.  It's stellar, truly.

The Mideast houses our sworn (by them) enemies.  You want to know why our President didn't make a big deal out of the journalist killed in Saudi......look at the bases we are building there now to protect our interests from Iran.  WE ARE BUILDING BASES IN SAUDI....they said we never could.  It sucks as a trade, I agree.....but the picture is bigger than what CNN reports.

Europe sucks....France sucks especially.   We don't owe Europe ANYTHING....we are paid up.  We don't owe NATO anything....we are paid up.  I don't want to hear about broken alliances when France, for example, won't back our interests.  Israel is our Mideast alliance....they are not always perfect, but we don't leave them because they have never left us and they are in the region that threatens us the most..  THAT'S an alliance we need TODAY.  The world is not the same place it was in 1940.

You make your bed and you sleep in it.  My country doesn't have any problem sleeping....it's us waking up that concerns our enemies....and it should. My fellow countrymen and women are just going to work every day and raising their families.....watch what happens if you try to take that from us.

America is NOT a cliche....we will fight....we have references.
