Subject: Caesar Creek- Any tips

Never done this race before- any tips on the course? anything out of the ordinary? I looked at the bike course and it seems that the OLy and sprint share portions of the road then split off then join back up again. Does this make for any confusion during the race and where to go?

YES! Make sure you know where you are supposed to turn and go stright on this course. I missed a turn last year and added about 1.5 miles and several minutes to my bike time. The only directions they laid out on the course was an arrowpainted on the roadway. I missed it at 20+MPH and it was only due to the sprint triathletes who pointed it out to me that I got turned around. It is confusing.

if you pay attention its not a hard course to follow.

the sprint is not a hard course, the olympic has one nice hill but the rest is easy.
