Subject: 5 Open Water Swims Per Week!

Hey All!  With the announcement that Wenonah swim season is over, there is an easy solution to meeting your swimming needs.  I know I sound like a broken record but Jersey Shore Tri Club literally organizes 5 open water swims each week - sometimes more.  Granted - 3 of them are at 5:30 am but the other 2 are at 6 pm.  Go to http://JSTRIClub.org for details about the swims and how to become a member.  There is no reason to fret over lack of open swim opportunities - you just need to reach out and grab the ones that are there.

Bay Head - 71 miles
Asbury Park - 69 miles
Belmar - 68 miles

 

Wenonah - 11 miles

 

Hmmm....... I think I'll still fret a bit, or reach waaaaay out

nice that u are so closed to wenonah!  i have a local quarry for swim but for more open distances, i need to travel at least an hour (beach sites) or 1.25 - 1.75 (depending on 295 bottle neck) Wenonah.  What is the closest beach to you and how long to get there?  maybe jstri can try to get some more southern activities going.

The ocean miles are good opps too - there are likely some down further south along the shore - lately there have been 1 - 2 per w/e up our way.
