Subject: Shopping for new frame - QuestionsHi Everyone
I currently have a Motobecane Nemesis (I pasted the specs below ). I bought the bike in January and I like it a lot, but I think I could do better as far as the frame goes. Perhaps something lighter, stiffer and more aero. My plan all along was to get the nemesis (for $1000 ), us it for a season and then get a new frame and start transferring everything over to the new one.
I am thinking that I will be willing to put about $600-$700 towards a new frame. So, here are my questions:
Is $600-700 enough for a good tri bike frame or am I being un-realistic?
Where should I start my search, in other words, what frames should I be looking at? (I know, I know, the ONE THAT FITS!!! - I will be taking care of that at my LBS )
Thanks for any help or guidance. |
