Drafting vs non drafting races....

After the exciting finish yesterday in the mens race - a draft legal one - what are peoples thoughts on the drafting rules....the spacing provided in drafting definitely helps prove the individualistic part of the sport, however, maybe the draft legal part helped the excitement for the spectator by keeping the race close ( shorter distance helped too I imagine)

Personally, I like close races so if drafting helps that...why not.....my 0.02c
