Subject: bike shoes for off season
I have Specialized BG Trivent bike shoes. Looking for recommendations for off season bike shoes. (I'd like to save the BGs for triathlon season and not beat them up this winter.) I live in NJ where it can get gold, windy and on occation wet. Need some recommendations on shoes, shoe covers and/or booties before I retreat to the trainer.

I think any shoes that are comfortable will be fine.  When it's cold and/or wet put on some booties.

With booties I can't really see that it matters what you get.  I mean, there only a bit of neopreme.  I've gpt some cheap Nike ones that are perfectly fine.
