Comments: Great run out, great course. Jenni you did a great job! What would you do differently?: Probably should have worn my Garmin so I would have split this better. I was trying to hammer out 7:10-7:17 per mile as a pacing warm up for my BQ attempt. I was off overall by about 8 seconds per mile. I guess it is back to the drawing board on that one. I will say that this race was a gun start and was not chipped timed so I might have actually made my time. I will try again in a month. Post race
Warm down: I walked around and waited for the rest of my family to finish. Then I walked back to the square to get my car and then I ate a bagel, drank some water and Gatorade. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing Event comments: This was a great race and will only get better with time. For a first time race this was perfect. This race was just down the street from my brother’s house. I drove the two blocks and did the packet pick up. Talked with some friends then headed back to the car and dropped all of my crap of then went back to the park and talked to ABake.
I stretched on the ground. They had an organized active warm up. I was late so I did not participate in it.
