Subject: Running store

Today is my first trip to  real running store.  Anything I should look at as warnings, that they are blowing smoke, or that they area a good store?

Ideally, they will put you on a treadmill with a videocamera to record your footstrike.

Of course, even with that equipment, they could still be blowing smoke!

Hello,

The employees of a good running store will definitely have a look at your feet, e.g. you stand on one foot and then you try to do a squat. By doing that, they can see how much support you need.

If the store has a treadmill, so much better. But from my point of view, it is not necessary.

Moreover they should ask you a few questions: what shoe have you used before, how much do you run, which surface, etc.

Have fun!
