Subject: Tires
Hey guys I'm 10 weeks out from the IMKY and want to put some new tires on my Kilo what type do yall recommind?  Also would yall take an extra tire with you on the bike ride on race day?

I've used GP4000 tires for about a year and they've done great! The two primary ones mentioned on sites like this are the Pro3 Race and the GP4000. Either will be excellent for use.

Yes, I always bring another with me. Don't carry it on the bike during the race but have it available during the final days of training and pre-race. Just in case.

Are you saying that you actually train for a few days at the sight of the IM before the race? Is that a commone practice?
