Any suggestions on an entry-level / first-time bike computer?  I've been training using my heart rate monitor, and would like to try using something else.  Thanks in advance!!!

What features do you need/want?

Basic computer, I stick with Catey, specifically my most recent model was the Strada Wireless, all the basic functions I need, <$40, easy to install and use. I like wireless because the first coupe wired models I got failed when the wire snagged on something and pulled out the unit. Been wireless ever since, plus it's cleaner and easier to install.

Doesn't have cadence though. If you need that, they make a Double Wireless that's a little pricier...

If you want to incorporate HR and GPS, it's hard to beat the Garmin Forerunner 305 for the money ~$150), you can use it on the bike and the run, and you can add cadence for $30.

Thanks Bear!

I'm really looking for the most basic features, so I think the first one you mentioned will probably work.
