Anyone Live Near W. Jefferson????

I don't live there, but I visit there about once every 2 months.  My folks have a place off Water Tank Road.  My in-laws have a place off Railroad Grade.  I LOVE riding up there.  I did a lovely 40ish mile ride last time I was up, from Todd up Three Top Road, over to 88 for a few miles, then back.  It was gorgeous.  Looking forward to it again over Thanksgiving.

Did the Blue Ridge Brutal last year, and was all over Ashe County on that one.  Great ride, good times.

I'll keep you in mind next time I'm on the way up, and maybe we can get out and ride some.

I know exactly where you are talking about.  We live on Big Horse Creek....1/2 mile from Virg and 5 miles from Tenn.  Lots of good places to ride on this side of the county also.  My favorite is to start in Demascus and ride up the Virginia Creeper Trail (mountain bike needed).  An excellent training ride and a scream coming back down!!!
