Subject: Calf cramped during kick drillsSo today when I was done with my intervals, I started kick drills. First I did 100 meters shark fin. Then I flipped over and started 100 meters back kicks. I had my zoomers on and was taking good long kicks. About 10 meters from the end my left calf cramped so bad and so fast I tried to stand up in the water. I had to grab the musle and try to push it back down. I then side stroked to the end and floated for a few minutes. It was tight walking out to the truck. I stopped and had some breakfast ( a nice feta cheese omlette & C-Milk yum ) with my brother went home and went to bed. I got up about 3:00 and as sonn as I steped on the floor I could feel that calf. So thoughts? Doing something wrong and just using a muscle in a way I should have been using it all along?
