Subject: RE: Yoga I just bought a new mat - you could have my old one for free, but the shipping from Canada to California would probably cost you more than a new one. I like the 3mm thickness. Too much padding and I find myself losing connection to the ground, which is just as important as the stretch itself. Some people have joint issues though and like a 5mm mat. Non-slip is key, obviously. I think the lululemon sticky grip towels that go overtop are more hassle than benefit, but a lot of people seem to like them. Personally, I think Gaiam mats are nice. They're cheap and they get the job done. No, they aren't organic or otherwise eco-friendly, but they work fine and come in great colours/prints. Sold. |
