Subaru Vancouver Tri July 4th-Wetsuit or Not?

I did this race the first year it was out and it was ridiculously cold! The current around the point makes the water pretty chilly. i would recommend a dip in the water prior to the race to see how you fare. There were a handfull of hardcore dudes that went in with lil' tiny swim shorts and came back out looking like cherry tomatoes. I would recommend a wet suit for just about any ocean swim, but then again I am pretty weak and wimpy. Good luck!

I too would recommend a wetsuit. I'm even wimpier then Haz though.
