Hey, Jonathan! I was wondering when you'd weigh in!

Didn't Gordo Byrn cut his teeth in Hong Kong as a triathlete and coach? I'm sure he was there for some time. It was a while ago, though. I do know a hard-core mountain biker chick there but no triathletes, come to think of it. And the ones who come down to Bali from China tend to come from Shanghai.

Yes, Gordo did spend some time here. Long time ago (early 90s) and HK was different then (not as crowded/built up).  Still, SBR here is a major challenge, as I'm sure you face in Bali.  Pools don't open early like they do in the States.  You have to reserve a lane and then still deal with slow breast strokers.  Biking here will get you killed unless you choose to go over to the airport/Disneyland and do the same 30 mile route every weekend. 

Therefore, I choose to run.  and run. and run. and run. 

I have meet some triathletes but only 1/2 dozen.  One couple brought there bikes and trainers and are doing all their training rides indoors #shootmenow. 

Wife and I talked about flying over the Bali to visit you at some point.  Probably fall of 2011 at this point.
