Comments:

felt good first 10 miles, very tired last 2-3 miles, need to pace better and learn to run at lower HR at this pace, travelled to UK week before, so was tired and hadn't run
What would you do differently?:

not take a big trip before, couple more runs

fatigue after mile 10, tired up to race day

Nice time + great pace ... an average of under 8:00 mi is nothing to sneeze at.

HR over 180 for the entire race?! Wow ... that would have done me in by mile 3!

Congratulations on your time kebwilson.

This was my first 1/2 mary and I did it in 2:31:13. I started "training" a month ago and had never made it past 10 miles so I am thrilled that I finished it without stopping, albeit at an 11+ min/mile pace.

It was a beatiful day for a run, with relatively low humidity, and the sunrise over the ocean was spectacular.
