Subject: Anyone a Spin Instructor?
I have Spinning this year and enjoy it very much, because I can't ride during the week and it is much more fun than a stationary bike. I have been thinking of getting my Spin Instructor Certification in the next year or so, so that I can teach a class in a few years.

The only place I found to get certified is through the spinning.com website, which lists venues where the certification is held. The closest to Shreveport is Dallas.

Is anyone a Spin Instructor, if so, where did you get certified? Do you have to take continuing education?

Other than staying in shape and helping others, what are the benefits (free/discounted membership, fee per class, paid certification, etc)?

It really depends on the club where you would teach. Johny G Spinning was the original. Now there is Spinning.com, Rebok offers a spinning Cert and many clubs will hold training and cert classes throughout the year when they or their chain need instructors. You would be wise to ask the club where you wish to teach so you will be properly certified for them.
