Subject: 09.12.2019 Bump Day...the day after Hump Day

Good morning BT.

5:30 AM - 60-minute trainer work out.  This was a ramp work out with 5' warm-up, 10' @ 60% FTP, 10' @ 70% FTP, 10' @ 80% FTP, 10' @ 90% FTP, 10' @ 100% FTP, 5' cool down.  I have done the ramp test twice but other than that this was my first ramp workout.  It was definitely different than interval workouts.  It felt more like outdoor riding to me.  

Later today 1000-1500 yds in the pool.

I put together the training plan for JFK 50 miler...This week is pretty light, recovering and then ramp it up next week while in Ireland.

Low cadence session this evening. 1 set of 5, 7, and 8 minute intervals of 60-70 RPM @ 100-115% FTP. 3’ recovery between each. Legs felt good. Easy run tomorrow followed by a century ride Saturday. Long-ish Run Sunday and then taper time for Augusta 70.3.
