Subject: 01.28.2020 Typical Tuesday
60 minutes on the bike trainer.

Today a young woman named Rocket guided me on a tour of the Appalachian Trail...Nice journey to watch while cranking away.

I feel like my exertion level is lower while maintaining higher cadence in my normal gears. Looks like it's time to gear up.

It was raining when I woke up this morning.  I didn't want to run in 45 deg F and rain so I traded today's run with tomorrow's TrainerRoads ride and stated indoors for a 55-minute bike trainer work out.  Yesterday had 5x30" surges and 5x5' intervals at 100% PFT.  Today was 5x15" surges and 5x2-1/2' at 105% FTP.  The shorter high power intervals are much easier for me right now.

70 minutes on the trainer this PM. Pretty steady effort with a few pick ups there mixed in and a .15 mile sprint to finish up.
