Subject: Introduction
Hi to everyone! I am getting ready to begin again. I have done several marathons, but never a triathlon. I can use good sound advice.

New to the site and basically the sport. It has been well over 5 years since my last tri. I am primarily a cyclist but can not find time trials to do. So I thought tri's would be the challenge I need.

I'm sure you'll find triathlon is a welcome sport, and this website is a welcoming place, full of people who are willing to answer your questions and point you toward good resources.

Swimming isn’t like running!  Technique is key, and runners with low body fat often struggle to stay flat on the water without their legs sinking. Get some instruction!  Check with your local tri club, dont be intimidated by “Masters swimming” , check out your local YMCA and university.
