Roll call: 9/25 HammerFest Sprint (CT)

I'm mailing in my application tomorrow. I'm cheap and hate paying extra to register online. Bring the tent...Max bring the marker if you can, we can write BT on our unmarked calf. Since it is a double loop on the bike..maybe we'll see each other as one of us is getting passed by another.

This will be my longest ocean swim so far. I wonder how the waves will be....getting out. Kevin says Branford has islands offshore so it is more protected. My swimming has continued to improve over the last 2-3 months. Now I swim 2200 yds in some of my swims...distance isn't the issue. I just need to figure out how to get into the zone...I tend to goof around to much during a Tri instead of pushing. I used to be very fearful swimming and would big time panic...now I don't panic, but still use my anti-panic techniques which is very slow.

Anyone know how hilly the bike is?

I'll be finishing up last of all the BTers so don't party to much until I finish...okay?

I mailed my application in Tuesday and next day came down with a nasty cold. I'm doing everything to get healthy and feel better for Sunday.

Well...you are in my AG and will kick my butt if you come......still I want you to come.

Glen...the application says they will have two tables one for preregistered and one for race day applications...so it looks like you can sign up Sunday am. Registration starts at 5:45 am.
