Subject: RE: Nat. ChampionshipGotta change my vote then. I'm rooting for Texas, but I'm with the odds makers, I think USC wins with both teams in the 30's. USC just has too much. Yeah, you can say they had a few close games, but they were down in three games at half and with the exception of ND they just came out and started lighting people up after the half. It's like they didn't even game plan, they just waited to see what you did in the first half, threw something together in the locker room at the break, and then came out and started servin' fools. As for ND, I think that was a fluke (even if I though the Bush push was crap). They just underestimated them. A mistake I don't see them making against Texas (as well as the mistake of coming out flat). However, the one glimmer of hope is looking at how bad some of the other Pac-10 teams have done. Oregon lost to a mid-tier Big 12 team, and Fresno, who gave USC all they could handle, lost to Tulsa fer cryin' out loud (by one point less than what USC beat them by). That said, Hook 'em Horns. bts |
