Subject: Statistics in metric system
Hi

Is there a way I can see the total statistic display as km and m (metric system) rather than miles and yards? Especially when I am entering the data under metric system. I am more accustomed to the metric system. Thanks.

go to the 'control panel' and then to 'edit your training setting'...their is a place to choose unit preferances..if that doesnt work, then tell me the exact page that wont configure to your user preferances.

Hi Ron,

First, I wanted to let you know that this is an outstanding site and you have built a great community here.

I had a question and perhaps suggestion. I've always kept logs of weight, calories, and workouts. I looked through the logs on the site and they look pretty darn good and I would like to use them. I would like to be able to download all my log data so I can drop it in to compare with my prior logs. Any chance of something like that?

Thanks!

Hi all. I am having a similar problem but can't seem to resolve it myself. I have just started with the BT training log and went to the Training Log page and set the defaults as kms and metres. However, when I enter my distance into the log it pops up as yards and then converts it to metres [therefore showing less than I've actually done!].

Is there some way I can enter metres and be done with it? Sorry to be a pain. You have probably addressed this issue many times. Grateful thanks for any assistance. Susan. :-)

PS Please note that computers are not one of my interests!

ok, i just went in.  i see what your saying.  what u have to do is just pick the appropriate unit dropdown for 'pace' (in your case km's and meters) and that will display the daily postings in those units.  REGARDLESS of the units u pick for pace, the totals and such for the calendar, week/month and year veiws will automatically be in your user preset default.

we have the choice for units in teh 'pace' are as it will allow a user to change units and not screw up the logs.

let me know if any more issues.

Thanks for looking into that Ron. I see what you've done - problem now resolved [good on ya mate]. It's just awesome what you can do with the log once you know how. Much appreciated. Susan.

Ok, maybe it's me but i don't get the voting?  I was reading an article when only had 3 stars and i thought to self -- 'self this was a kick@ss article and we think it should be at least 4 stars if not 5!'  So, self says hey vote 4 stars!  But when i clicked on the stars it updates to show 4 votes but i didn't get a chance to cast what rating ??? self is sooo confused do you have to point mouse at the star at which you want to vote or is the voting mearly counting the number of people clicking on it rather than the actual rating of stars for bad, good, great etc?

just wondering

thanks

d.

yeah, u point at the star and click for the rating...clicking on the first star would be one out of five for example....the last star would be 5 out of 5....

last i checked, it seems to be averaging things out correctly and each vote is weighted from 1-5 for the final rating...i will keep an eye out this week though...and double check the code...

I really like this site, this is like an oasis of health and excercise sites I have been to, nice job on all those who have created and work/ed on this.
I have a set group of training modules that I use, is there a way to post my module break down and save me the typeing everyday, instead I can just do a Swim Module "A" on Monday and I can look at my listings and that will be a 4x50M Freestyle, 10x100m freestyle 2.00mins ...etc
I played around and I couldn't find a way to do it easier than manual, I like the way it is know but thought I would throw that out there to see....
Thanks again for a nice place to track my tri training....

scottus....heres what u do.

put in your exact swim 'routine' for your first time in the swim comments section...save it.  then next time u swim, use the 'copy/move/delete' from the day u put the comments in to the next day...it will then open up a pop-up and u can choose to copy any workout WITH THE OPTIONS of transferrring your 'commented' info for that workout.

once copied to current day, all u have to do is change your time/distance if different.  i beleive this is exactly what u want to accomplish.  so once u get...say...monday, wed and fridays swim workouts in the comments section...the next week, go to that day and copy it (with comments) to your current or target day.

BUT i was just using this and it appears to work off and on...we will get it fixed next day or two...with the new updates, we are still clearing up the bugs.

Ron HELPPP!! I am hyperventilating here. I just went to the Half IM program and it is a different program to the one I have been using. The PDFs are called week 1 etc where the column is week 20. I cannot recognise any of the sessions that I am supposed to have done. Is it possible it is not the HalfIM program after all? I did not download the whole program but have been printing it off every couple of weeks so I will have a nervy turn if it is a completely different program. Thanks for your attention. Deidre.

its fixed and all files r verified...darn site migration....its those mundane details.

sorry
