So I finished my first sprint tri in 1 hour 39 minutes and 51 seconds, and I was wondering if that is a good time. I know this may seem like a dumb question but I am curious because it was my first sprint distance. Last year I did a super sprint, and when I finished I said, "that was it. let's run it again!" So i upped the anty and ran a sprint this year after getting hooked. So can anyone tell me If my time was good. It was a 600yd swim, 15 mile bike, and 5km run.

Thanks for the feedback.

The time depends on a lot of factors and your definition to say if it was "good". Was it hot out? Was it hilly? What kind of bike did you use?

I ask myself three questions to see if it was a "good" race.

Did you enjoy myself? Did I challenge myself in training and in the race? Did I execute the race strategy, before and during, that I wanted?
