Subject: RE: Blue Seventy Swim Skins ColdRingo -
In full-disclosure, I have a product sponsorship with blueseventy so please view my comments with that information in mind. I have both a Helix and PointZero3+. Depending on water temp, I'll choose one or the other, but I'm always wearing one regardless of the distance and temp. Coming from a swimming background I am very selective about what I wear. I have no other point of reference for competitive products, but I couldn't recommend the PZ3 line enough. Yes, you can tell the difference, even for a stronger swimmer as I am myself.
Is it warm? In temps over 80 it's warm, but IMO so is a jammer. I believe in the benefits of the suit so much I wore my PZ3+ at the U.S. Masters Open Water 10k National Champs this past June in 83 degree water. It was a bit toasty but I don't think I could have gotten through the race without it - definitely not with the results I posted.
My experience with the data points with one vendor's product. Good luck with your choices...
