Subject: ? about race number
Okay in my sprint tri do i need a race belt to put my number on or can i just pin in to a tech tee shirt and wear it with my tri shorts under my wetsuit. Can't believe all of these last minute ??? thanks for your advice in advance.

Race belts are pretty cheap and save a ton of time and hassle. You can almost always pick one up at the event too.

Race belt...or, if you are thinking of tech t-shirt rather than a tight-fitting bike jersey or tri top, you could just pull the shirt on in T1 with the number pinned to it. I did that in my first couple tris (pulled a slightly loose-fitting bike jersey on in T1) and it didn't take any more time than snapping on a race number belt. The main problem that people will point to is a shirt sticking to wet torso, but, honestly, most tech t's aren't really going to be that big a deal to throw on.

But sooner or later you'll get a race number belt...
