Subject: Cateye v2c

Anyone have this headache bundle of joy?

 

If the speed is working, cadence is not. If the cadence is working, the speed is not. Also, can't figure out how to stop/star rides. please help.

Can't help you with your troubles, but I'm sure glad you posted this because I was "this close" to buying the v2c. I think I'll look at something else now. Thanks for the warning.

I have one and don't have any problem with it.  Are you aware you can adjust the sensors independently so that the speed sensor is closer to the wheel magnet, and the cadence arm is closer to the crank?  You can loosen the thumb screw at the pivot point, adjust them as needed, then tighten the thumb screw again.

To start it, press the lower right button, then just start pedaling.

I reset everything (again), and re-adjusted so it's actually working now! Only took about a month to figure it out. 

 Pressing the bottom right, that's it? Sheesh. Maybe there's a case of user-error involved.
