Pre-race routine:

Really tired from the duathlon race yesterday. Back to back races probably isn't a wise move but if I can do 2 marathons in 3 weeks, I ought to be able to run a 5K after a 5K/30K/5K du.
Event warmup:

Rode my bike to the art museum, locked bike, registered for the race.

Good run John! (and nice work on the du the day before too)

I ran the 10k at the DASH and will probably be at some of the same events as you later in the year (Devilman, Columbia, Philly, Diamondman) so hopefully we'll meet up at some point.

Thanks Johnny. I am sure that we will run into each other sooner or later. I have my T3 uniform on for most of the races.

As for the 10K, they need to do a better job of corralling all the walkers so the runners can get by on the way back in.

I'll keep an eye out for the uni.

Yeah, fortunately I was running pretty solo for the last mile when I met up with the walkers so I didn't need much room.  But they forget that there are bikers and others coming from behind them too.  I tried to ask some of them to at least leave us with a full lane as I went past.
