Subject: RE: Post-IMCDA blues?Congrats on your IM finish!!!!!!!!! Was this your first? Last year after IMKY I was on an amazing high, for weeks! Just knowing I had accomplished such an amzing goal that took months of training, just had me on cloud 9. I took one day off from training, the day after the race and then continued training/staying active. I really enjoyed not being on a training plan, just waking up and saying to myself "what do I feel like doing today?" Sometimes it was a swim, bike or run and other times, a long walk or a hike or some strength training. It's still early in the season, maybe do some shorter distances and focus on speed rather than endurance. Congrats again! Welcome to the family, Ironman! |
