Member  157   Red Lion, PA |  Subject: IM Rhode Island 70.3I'm thinking of doing this race as my first HIM as i think it will be a good time to decide if i want to try IM Lack Placid in 2011, also fit in well with my training. I saw it opened today. It looked like last year it did not fill up, or was at least open for quite some time. Think it will fill up soon as i'm not quite ready to pull the trigger yet. Thanks, Mike |

People in general don't seem to be in love with the course from the folks I've talked to. I think you probably have a little time before it fills up. I'm just guessing though and taking what people in my area have told me. I'm sure now that they have slots, it may change the game a little. |

Pro 4608 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: IM Rhode Island 70.3 It never sold out this year, there were still slots race weekend. The IM sign up may be appealing. I loved this race and thought the course was fantastic. It's challenging but not too crazy and I love a good ocean swim. I'll try to do it again for sure, it just doesn't fit in my schedule next year. The pre-race organization was terrible but the race weekend execution was top notch and they had a lot of small touches that were on par with a full IM that I think make it a really great experience. |
