After 5K miles I need to replace my stock wheels.  The problem is that I have no idea what to look for on a good set.  I don't want to spend more than $400 on the set because my bike is not worth that much but I am looking for durabilty.  I am a 240 lbs so I don't want to replace the new set in a short period of time.
My LBS recomended to look at the Mavic Ksyrium Equippe or Shimano R500.  I am reading mixed reviews of both of these

Any help is appreciated

The LBS recomended it.  The back hub is pretty bad. It vibrates a lot.  Also,  the area where the break pad rub,  is pretty worn out ( the rims have a wear guide and they are pretty much gone). I am pretty much going by the LBS's word, is there other options?
