So.  I plan to jump into cyclocross this fall.  Anybody done any cross racing around here?  Anyone interested in giving it a shot?

There's racing every weekend October and November with WCA: http://www.wicycling.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=11&Itemid=10

In past years there have been Wednesday night practices at 5 p.m. in Estabrook park--right by my house but a bit of a trek across town for you. 

I'm buying a cross bike, but you could definitely bring your MTB to give it a shot.  You like to suffer Joe, you would surely be good at cross!

Looks like fun, but uh, yah....I think my hubby would kill me if I bought another bike. Maybe I could retrofit my beater bike 10 speed for cyclocross.....
