 Subject: La Jolla to dos.....My wife and I are going to be staying in La Jolla, in the hotel right across the street from the cove, this weekend. We'll do a swim or two in the cove, maybe a short run, but what else should we see/do? We've been to the zoo, etc... Any restaurants we shouldn't miss? Other good activities? |

Extreme Veteran  547   Canyon Hills (Lake Elsinore), CA | Subject: RE: La Jolla to dos..... Birch Aquarium is just up the road, Sea World is down the freeway a bit. Georges on the Cove and Aqua are both great places to eat up on Prospect right there in La Jolla. Downtown SD is a great place to pass some time, especially is you like to partake in a cocktail or beer or two. |

Expert 904 | Subject: RE: La Jolla to dos..... If you like breakfast. Hash House A Go-Go in Hillcrest is awsome. Their portion sizes are enough for two people. Get there early or you will be waiting awhile. If you like seafood Anythony's Fish Grotto on the bay in downtown San Diego is nice, a little pricey, but well worth it. Also Mt. Soleadid is beautiful to take pictures and just sit down relax and enjoy the scenery. You'll see lots of bikers climbing the hill. Edited by iwantotri 2009-08-27 2:36 PM |
