Subject: Newb here. Any thoughts on running shoes for EEE 230 lbs?
I ran my surprise sprint (though "run" is used loosely) with 10 year old NB's.  They have paint on them from when my seven year old was born.  They are heavy and thud hard.  Help.

I'm also in the 230 lb range with a wider foot.  I have been running in NB shoes from the get go.  I too use the term running loosely.  My worst event.  When it came time to replace my first pair of NB, I did the research and tried on several makes and models and I ended up with another pair of NB 768.  Fit and price were right.

Take a look at Brooks Beast too.  I know a couple of bigger guys who run in them and love them.

Brooks adrenaline gts have kept me pain free since april, although I think I'm ready for a new pair?
